Hi there,
Phew, what a summer! We’re already back to school as of this week (can you believe it?), but we’re trying to remember it’s actually still summer! August is the best month for produce, so we’ll be coming at ya with new recipes each week. Plus, we hope to send a special recap of our latest Michigan adventure soon.
How about you: what fun produce are you experimenting with? Any ideas for recipes you’d like to see? Any fun trips you’ve taken? (Let us know in the app comments or respond via email.)

These golden pan-fried fritters are incredible dipped in a creamy sauce! With corn season in full swing, this one is on repeat over here. Try them dipped in sour cream or garlic aioli with a summer salad as a simple meal.
Old fashioned summer goodness! We nabbed a bunch of fresh blackberries at the farmers market and baked up this one. The golden, fluffy topping over the jammy filling is pure bliss. (Fresh blackberries can be pricey, so frozen also work as a sub.)
Every season we become obsessed with a singular ingredient, and this year it’s zucchini! This lemon zucchini bread somehow miiight even be over favorite over this chocolate version we posted a few weeks ago. It’s so ultra moist and zingy, we couldn’t stop sneaking bites.
PS It lasts well in the refrigerator, so we like to cut it into small pieces for when we need a sweet bite.
