Happy August! We’ve been juggling the start of school, a quick girls trip to Park City Utah for Sonja, and lots and lots of cooking. Plus, we’ve got a fresh new piano video! What is the best thing you’ve cooked last week? What seasonal ingredients do you have in abundance? We’d love to know.

5 Ingredient Garlic Butter Noodles
The best simple, flavor-popping pasta! It requires just 5 ingredients (plus salt) for massive flavor. Step it up for summer by adding sliced raw cherry tomatoes and a handful of torn basil! SO so good.
Remember those purple potatoes we found at our farmers market? This vibrant violet mash is how we cooked them: and it’s a brilliant way to use them. Pick up a bunch of these if you can; they have some interesting health benefits (see the link).
Homemade ice cream is what summer is made of! This one rich, creamy, tangy and fruity: it will surprise you! Our friend nabbed us a big box of Indiana blueberries and this is one way we used them. If you have a load of berries, try our 30 favorite blueberry recipe ideas!
This classic cocktail can’t be beat in the summer! We’re circling back through the classics and this one stands out: especially if you’ve got fresh mint! It’s simple and beyond tasty. (Also, try these 17 mojito variations.)
Ingredients in abundant supply - tomatoes, green peppers, jalapeños, and onions. Making roasted tomato salsa 😊.
What a talented piano player you are!!
