Summer pizza nights are in full swing! The simplest topping combinations are the best in our book, and this combo of ripe green and black olives is out-of-this-world good. We’ve been enjoying pizza nights with our outdoor oven (info in the post!).
Our ice cream maker is in full swing this summer, and homemade Rocky Road is where it’s at! A rich chocolate base is loaded with toasted almonds, marshmallows and chocolate chips. (Did you know it was the first ice cream flavor with mix-ins, invented in 1929? Details in the post.)
This crunchy, cool salad is summer’s side dish! It’s simple to whip up, and we like it best with long, thin English cucumbers (the skin is less bitter and the seeds are almost imperceptible). It pairs with almost anything!
Sure, there’s everyone’s favorite spritz! But there’s so much more to do with this fun liqueur. Try it in a negroni, the Paper Plane, and you won’t even believe what a Spaghett is. (It’s new to us, and so much fun!)
