Here’s a new fave! Broccoli and cauliflower with a creamy dressing, sundried tomatoes, feta, and toasted pine nuts. Yum! When we served this at a recent pizza party it got rave reviews.
This is the one we made for July 4th that got rave reviews: everyone asked for the recipe! We revamped our old cobbler recipe (my mom's), making it even more irresistible. I will say this took us quite a few recipe tests over the past 2 years to get right: so we’re glad to finally nail it.
Serve with homemade whipped cream for a transcendental experience. Everyone was surprised that I whip it by hand, but I think that makes it taste better! (But really, I just don’t like having to clean my stand mixer.)
This is your seasonal reminder to make Nicoise salad! We are obsessed with this classic French main dish salad and recently served it for friends who were in town. It’s so fresh and delicious, perfect with a crisp white or rose. It’s also so easy to prep in advance, and you can mix it up with various proteins (tuna, white beans, tofu, salmon, etc).
It’s corn season here in Indiana, and we just picked up a big bag at our farmers market. Here’s a way to turn it into a fun and fancy side dish: creamed corn! Homemade is nothing like the canned stuff: it’s full of incredible rich flavor and pairs with just about any summery main.
